We are sisters who have gone through the ups and downs of life together. We decided it was time to take one of our favorite pastimes to the next level by creating Board Mommas Crafts & Design because what Momma isn't bored ...

Raised in beautiful northern Michigan, Jordan and Shelby are now mommas raising their own families in their hometown of Traverse City, Michigan. Jordan married her high school sweetheart, Christopher, and they have two children, Jackson (6) and Caylee (3). Jordan is a Systems Architect in the information systems department at Northern Michigan's largest Healthcare system. Shelby is married to Mitch and they are enjoying parenthood with their daughter, Phoebe (1). Shelby is working for State Farm Mark Newhouse Agency, recently became a Realtor in the Traverse City Area, and bartends at one of northern Michigan's favorite Breweries.

We have always enjoyed doing crafts together and coming up with fun designs. As young girls, we created bead animals and keychains with our close friends, which led to our first "business" called Beads, Beads, and more Beads. We frequented our subdivisions garage sales every year and even had our very own business cards. Little did we know, that was only the beginning of our crafting journey together. We are overjoyed to share our crafts and designs with you now through Board Mommas Crafts & Design.
